Each member of the Mint 32 team is here because they love what they do – helping patients achieve their ideal smile in a comfortable, gracious treatment setting. Every day is a great day at Mint 32 because of these dedicated professionals.
Shontá
Practice Administrator
Shontá is a certified expanded duties dental assistant who brings over 20 years of dental experience to the Mint 32 team – including 10 years as an administrator. She keeps our practice thriving by managing all the business details. But she doesn’t stay behind a desk all day. Shontá loves working with people and is happy to answer your questions when you visit our office.
A native Atlantan, Shontá lives in Cumming with her daughter. When she’s not at Mint 32 making sure you have the best patient experience possible, she enjoys spending time with family, shopping, reading, and kickboxing.
Kim
Treatment Coordinator
Kim is your first point of contact at Mint 32 and her #1 job is to make you feel warmly welcomed. As treatment coordinator, she’s the person to talk to about setting up your appointment. Besides connecting with patients to coordinate their treatment, Kim also communicates directly with dental insurance providers. So, she’s also the person to ask if you have questions about covered treatments.
Kim grew up in Tennessee and attended Tennessee Tech University. After graduating from the Middle Tennessee School of Cosmetology, Kim owned and operated her own salon. She changed her career path to dentistry in 1995. Kim is the proud mom of a teenage son, Evin. She loves the great outdoors and all sports — especially the University of Tennessee Volunteers!
Jennifer
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jennifer is a skillful and caring dental hygienist who brings a unique educational background to the Mint 32 team. She initially earned a degree in Psychology from Arkansas Tech University. After several years of working with patients with chronic mental illness, Jennifer became interested in studying systemic health. This led her to seek a degree in Dental Hygiene at DeKalb College.
Having Jennifer explain the relationship between oral health and the overall health of your body is an informative experience. It’s sure to give you a fresh perspective and motivate you to take great care of your mouth! Jennifer keeps expanding her dental skills through continuing education. She enjoys music, travel, reading and knitting for relaxation.
Kristine
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kristine started out as a dental assistant but soon decided to take her career to the next level. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from Georgia Perimeter College. The skills she learned give her the ability to provide top notch dental care for her patients. But it’s her commitment to making you feel relaxed and comfortable during each visit that will keep you coming back to Mint 32. Kristine enjoys nurturing those long term professional relationships with patients since she knows regular dental hygiene treatment is the key to preventing future problems.
Kristine is originally from the Philippines and moved to Georgia in 1994. She lives in Alpharetta and enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
Samantha
Certified Dental Assistant
samantha@mint32.com Samantha is a certified expanded duties dental assistant who graduated from Southern Medical and Dental Careers Institute. She has experience working in advanced dental fields such as Orthodontics, Cosmetics, Prosthodontics, and Restorative Dentistry. Her goal is to give outstanding customer service to all her patients. Samantha feels that the most gratifying aspect of her job is making you feel comfortable and safe from the moment you step through the door at Mint 32. Samantha is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology at Penn State. For summer fun, she visits the pool or the park with her dogs, Cocoa and Pablo. During the winter, she loves to go camping and rock climbing with her husband, Matthias.
